We had a 7am start today. First stop was Teotihuacan to climb the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. I climbed them last weekend with my GAP tour group so I stayed back and helped Lisa buy and prepare lunch. That gets my lunchtime responsibilities out of the way for the rest of the tour.

After lunch we took the Tucan bus (it's painted bright yellow with a Tucan on the side so you can't miss it) to Puebla. On the way we stopped and took photos of Popocatepetl, the second highest volcano in Mexico. Our hotel in Puebla is lovely and perfectly located opposite the town square. Today is Mexican Independence Day so there are street stalls, music, clowns and lots of families on the streets.

Puebla is famous for talavera ceramic tiles and mole (a sauce made from chilli and chocolate). For dinner I had my best meal so far - enchilades with three mole sauce - mole poblano (chocolate and chilli), green mole and red mole (which was the hottest of the three). Every bite was amazing! We followed dinner with banana fritters dipped in caramel and attempted to walk it off wandering through the street party.

Yum!!
Your dinner sounds delicious! I love beans.....I found it very hard to keep my weight under control in Latin America.....between avoiding salads and fruit and eating lots of beans - disaster!!!
