Edit Blog Post

Well, my apartment still has not been cleaned. Laundry has been done, plants look wonderful (thanks to my very benevolent neighbor Danielle) and watered, and now, finally, the Travel Blog has been completed.

I was back at work early on the 10th, and someone had written "We Really Missed You!" on my white board. I honestly love my job. It's not backpacking across the UK, but I do get to play in the wonderful rivers and streams of Colorado and I get paid for doing so. How cool is that?

And being back in the groove at church has got to be about the most rewarding thing ever. I have the honor of running into so many of our church attendees throughout the week, and then to see everyone together on Sunday, makes me realize that I am part of something so much bigger than myself! Having the opportunity to serve them is about the greatest rush ever.

Things have been busy - I'm scheduling meetings and projects at work into late October already, and my personal life isn't far behind. One goal I have come back with is to simplify where I can, to have more time with people, inviting them over for teas and coffees, and less time just doing meetings and "stuff". Hopefully I can be true to that.

I suppose this is well long enough. Please leave comments!!! Good night, and God Bless.

Mr. Balance
Loved your impressions and descriptions of everything! This makes me want to plan a trip out that way. I'll be satisfied until then with scotch flights at Coops and the occasional meeting over beer. I'd love to hear more of the lofty theology you got at Oxford. Can you say Thursday?

Living vicariously through you...
Stevie G! I feel like I was there. I love these things. Please travel alot and write more of them for me, OK? Miss you lots, dude. (Can I pull that off?) Love ya! Oh, and just a p.s. from a mother of two small children, that is decidedly NOT Tony the Tiger, but Tigger on the cup. We'll forgive you this time.....
