I am escorting a load of passangers round the island on a magical mystery tour, not....but at least I get to go on the steam train...yah boo sucks! another concert tomorrow night, a big bit of Beethoven, so lots of finger work there. Had a fab supper tonight and we also had to test the rather yummy little nibbles that are provided after 10.45 pm. Uncle Goerge, aka steve Galler the banjo player get sorf tomorrow to replaced by a big bloke from Wales what sings and a magician who make your cabin disappear up a rabbit warren!

spiders/bigmen/insomnia and Saxes
Ok - so you finally inspire me to make an advance booking to the croft on Skye - though it beats me how any of your digits can be dexterous enough to cope with anything other than chop sticks after such exposure - shall start saving for a vast and impenetrable kagoul. Suffering from insomnia yet again - cannot sleep until have offloaded brain onto computer - logging on (alongside newly lit squirrel of Norwegian origins - how snug am I) a spider dropped on its web and hung neatly between me and the screen - well Lynne - I thought of you as I did t'other day when visiting the largest man on the marina for tea and cake. He lives on the smallest barge called Tom Thumb. He hates spiders and was infested - families of them daily waiting for him at dawn - webs drawn. Anyway - he has fitted electronic kit at bow and stern and at the beginning of the spider season (shall ascertain that one) has a special spider spray with which he sprays all surrounds of all orifices (of the boat). Shall pop along tomorrow and get all info and send it on to you. Meanwhile stuff continues - Mark nods his head - says no - it will never fit - when his back is turned I scuttle on board with another load and hid it wherever (so many places on a barge) and the boat sinks another inch. Come back soon - whilst she still floats! Thought for first Saxette rehearsal that you need me at - how about Saxettes come here when work finishes. Supper on barge and rehearse in large marina club gazebo (has sustainable rubber flaps and heating if needed for winter use). That way you could visit bargeland before winter kicks in. Just a thought - I think the people here would love it and they would not intrude. Must go now - Orion gently rocking me to sleep ...enjoying blog and look forward to more from you all ....Louise
