My Parents
These photos were taken on a trip with some friends. My father is the one with glasses and mustache, and my mother is the one with a pink shirt. I have been in the country of my birth for 3 weeks now, seventeen years after I left and had not returned. I have travelled all throughout Medellin, city where I made my home for the first eight years of my life, and to Bogota to visit my special someone, Janneth. I have heard stories from all possible family members, some of which I did not know existed. I have cried and laughed, and had nostalgic memories that I did not know exist flood my mind. My Parents
These photos were taken on a trip with some friends. My father is the one with glasses and mustache, and my mother is the one with a pink shirt. Here there is another photo of my mom, in a red shirt; first photos of her when pregnant with me. excited to see this land once again, I still do not feel like I am here. My travels through Asia, Europe, and North America have made me feel like I am still travelling through some new lands, meeting new people. But these individuals that affected my life in those first eight years, have a familiar feel. I have been welcomed here in Medellin as I had never left, and in Bogota I have made a new family, and as well great memories. I want to thank all those that have made stay here nostalgic and wonderful.
