This is back dated but I think we all agree worth writing coz this was our fav place overall. I have had enough with out dated computers on beautiful islands... this is taking forever!
Well we ended up on Perhentian Besar (big island) but the place we wanted to stay at was full so we went to another bay and stayed at a place called FLORA BAY. Our hut was basic but v cute with 2 kingsize beds and ac... food was good and hammocks were plentiful. Saw nemos for the first time snorkelling just in the bay.
Eventually moved to COCOHUTS which jay had chosen before we left DXB and that was a real success, I met a teacher from Canada so had someone to chat to whilst the kids went DIVING. It was meant to be a bubblemaker course but in the absense of a pool they used the coral reef infront of the resort. A turkish guy called Fezz took the kids for a 20 min stint and brought them back over an hour later with a huge grin saying he would take them on an open water dive to 4m next day coz they
were so good and raring to go... in for a penny and all that so the next afternoon we caught a boat to the little island, Long Beach, and i snorkelled while th e kids went diving and touched a turtle (you'll be pleased to know i missed it lou!). The pics Im trying to attach only give a tiny flavour of how much fun we had.
Evenings were a little scary due to regular electric storms which would light up the whole bay but we survived each night and throughly enjoyed the days.

Wow..... cant believe what you lot have been up to.. looks brilliant and wish I was with you. Belated happy birthday Dan.. by the way Fezz looked a bit of alright! Look forward to seeing you all soon. xx
