Anyone out there that has traveled to Guyana, please tell me what it was like. We are thinking about a week long vacation there sometime this winter (2008). For example, where did you stay? what did you do there? what were the people like?

If you can visit an unspoilt nature gem would you do it?
hi! Guyana was great! especially if you like nature. You will have to cover some miles to see the diversity of the country. The capital city is semi chaotic and bustling. We've written a little about our 4 week stay in Guyana- check out www.mytb.org/two4deroad. Have fun!!!
