Inside the bell is a large stone. It is meant to bring you lots of luck if you reach in and touch it
Borobudur is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. It is just outside Jogjakarta, which is also known as Jogja and Java. Went there with Jessica, her cousin and his little boy and his brother in law. Confusing isnt it.
At most tourist sites in Indonesia, foreingers pay 10times more than domestic tourists. You have to go to a different ticket point and entrance point. My ticket cost $US 10 AND Jessica's cost only $US 1. I thought it was shocking and after going all that way, your not going to excatly say no are you.
Anyway, walked though my private entrance and headed up though a small park surrounding the temple. It is spectaular looking from a distance and with most places in Asia, full of people.
Climbed up the first flight of stairs and started to take some pictures and look around. I was approached by a small group of school children and asked if i could sign my name on a bit of paper. Being a nice person I agreed, only to have 10 bits of paper appear. I signed them all, but never gave them my proper signature.

stairs and started to take more photos and look around. Another larger group of school children approached me. They wanted me to write my name and address. Being a nice person I again agreed. However I told them I would only write down a bit of my address. After signing about 30 with Paul from Scotland, me and Jessica turned the corner only to be confronted by yet another large group.
Was expecting them to ask for my mother maiden name, but it was the same request as the last group. In all i must have signed almost 100 bits of paper, with either my signature, printed name or address. If a little boy or girl from Indonesia appears at your house or at my bank claiming to be Paul Storrie, they have stole my identity.
At the temple I picked up a few stones since I paid extra money to get in. The place is worth a visit if your patient . On the way back to the car park I was also stopped by a another group of school children looking for a photograph. All the teachers and children surrounded me, while cameras were flashing everywhere. Someone must have told them I was famous. Wonder who hahaha
