In Echuca, Vic. Spent something like 10 hours on the bus getting to Melbourne and then had all day in the city to wait for my bus to Echuca. First impressions of Melbourne - FANTASTIC! So much going on! There's the fringe festival, an arts festival, something like 5 sports stadiums, and an outdoor music venue near the botanic gardens. Another place I wish I had more time to check out... I've got to return to Australia in the future when I'm rich.
It was a shame saying goodbye to Paul after such a short time. I'd only known him for a week but he was such a gem of a travel buddy: easy going, lots of laughs. Hopefully we'll meet up in Melbourne at the end of the month when I go back there.
Work is pretty good. Boring but easy. I'm working in a vineyard and planting tomatoes. Yesterday we worked in 38 degrees and almost died of heat. Today we worked in pissing rain and almost died of cold. The hours are long but I'm not complaining because I'm making good money. $720 in the last 8 days after tax!!

What'd I tell you -- Melbourne is the roxor. :) One my best Aussie friends is actually from Echuca originally... I'm kind of curious as to why you would go there, but okay... ;) Anyway. Spend more time in Melbourne! More time in Melbourne! :)
