In Summerland

Here I am kicking it in rainy old Summerland. It’s awesome to have some time to visit with the fam before I head out to the Island. So far I haven’t done a ton of stuff just tying up a bunch of loose ends. I’m hoping a get a bit of time to kick it with my friend Ali before I leave. I had a wonderful birthday dinner last night with my Dad, Melanie, and my sister Liz. It was locates on the lakeside resort overlooking the water. It was so awesome to share our crazy stories and have some time to catch up. I’m hoping that the weather changes so I can hang out @ the beach, but I just looked at the weather forcast and it’s not looking very promising. Oh well, I guess you can only make the best of what your given. I’m heading over to Victoria this Thursday and staying over @ my friend Chrystal and Brent’s place. Shane fly’s in on Friday morning and we get till Monday night together. I knew that being away from my best friend wouldn’t be easy, but I just wish that we could have done this trip together. Well I’m off to go and do some banking. I can’t wait to see what’s around the corner…
