My getaway from the heat...only to find myself in an over price lodge and dirty hill station...hmmmmm...NOT HAPPY!!!! :(
After a few weeks in the heat i thought it would be nice to getaway to a hill station for some cooler weather.

So i headed up to Ooty only to find that it was dirty and all the lodge/hotels was over priced due to all the Indian tourist also hiding from the heat....i only stayed a night!!...and caught the bus to Mysore the next day.

I must admit my journey down Ooty tea plantation was actually very pleasant, a shame i didn't have my camera ready, there was some great picture opportunities with the tea picker finishing off their day and the sunset over the mountains and then when i arrived to Mysore that night the palace was all lit up which i later found out only happens on a Sunday or special holidays.

Monsoon has arrived in Karnataka...It tipped it down in Mysore when i arrived. I had to walk around in the pouring rain looking for somewhere to stay. Actually thought it was quite funny little ole me carrying my rucksack around with water up to my ankles. Thinking back..you just didn't know what was floating next to you...im just glad or hope i haven't caught anything 😊

Moving on to Hampi...i found this place a lovely relaxing place, ended up staying for 3 days...didnt do much site seeing really spent most of our time at the mango tree and i decided to give Ayurveda massage another go. Good job as my last one i had in Kollam was rather disappointed.

After rushing around the last 3 weeks, i was persuaded to take it easy in Goa before i head up to Delhi.
Was recommnded to go to the south by a few other travellers, it was lovely there and very laid back and loads of lovely fresh fish. Although 3 days on the beach for me was too much especially when the election is on and most of the restaurants was closed for the last evening, Gutted!!!...as i was looking forward to another big platter full of fresh fish.
