And, to top off a fantastic vacation, we finally met up with the Sandhus on Saturday night. It was sooo great to see them, and have drinks and dinner in Barcelona. How often can that happen? Wait - maybe often...it happened once, we should do it again!
Thanks to Sharen and Kalv for meeting up, it was really great to see you! Thanks as well for the drinkies at the lounge...tasty! Made for a rough start the next day, mind you. 😊
So Sunday, our last official day in Barcelona, started off slow. Wandered around town, then up to Montjuic (the site of the Olympics). Ended the day off with a long walk along the beaches - walked from one end to the other. Sheila got to put her foot in the Mediterranean Sea for the first time. Aron, taking her picture, also put his feet in the sea...accidentally, while wearing his shoes. Thank goodness for the hot weather or those would have been gross shoes to wear home!
Goodbye Barcelona, goodbye Europe. Hello, work!

I blinked in all the ones we took so will need copies of yours. How stupid do we all look in "Obvious Tourists"??? That was such a funny night. We totally should have gone to the Gothic quarter though. Kalv and i found some awesome bars around there on Sunday night. by the way... we also had a very rough start to the day after our night out. Kalv and I probably looked like complete zombies at la Sangrada Familia!
