Me in VeniceMe in VeniceMe in Venice

Me with bushy hair and shades.....lol
So i have been doing cartwheels all weekend as i have firmed up my itinerary yesterday at Trailfinders (the agents im using)..........if anyone in the UK is reading this and needs to find an agent for a big trip or an RTW ticket...........then ask for Terrence Bibby at the Manchester office.....Terence is the salt of the earth.

Basically since my initial visit to the agency he has reserved my first flight to NYC and then has been keeping a watching brief as the seats become available and had reserved the rest of US flights and kept an eye open for when my CA and SA flights became an option and he spent close too two hours with me yesterday making sure my itinerary became a reality and the was some slight plan changes in CA, but without it, i may have had to scrap the CA (Central America) part of my tour.

So depending on the alliance of airlines you are using means having to use alliance airlines and code sharing flights and so where as i wanted to fly from LA to Mexico city, i am now flying down to San Jose.................yes this a song about San Jose............however the are about 7 San jose's and the one im visiting is in Costa rica (were Christina Aguilera's family are from) and the other one is in California im led to believe.

So now its a quick hop down to Panama and then up to Mexico via the rest of CA and then fly out of Mexico City down to Santiago (Chile) the start of my SA leg (South America).

At some stage i will list the fully confirmed flights and dates..........but back to Terrence, so because of the whole flights not being loaded for many months before hand, he popped in a few dummy dates for OZ,Asia and India.

What he has suggested to stop incurring fees for charges, is he will keep a watching brief and then around about the end of June i will go back and pay for the full ticket.Terrence had advised that if i had paid the full whack yesterday i would have to pay a fee for each change, but now i have paid a deposit i know the full cost with taxes and i also have my Itinerary set and so no additions or changes to where im going. I just need to calculate the last flights within my time scale.

When i go back to trailfinders im taking Terrence a bottle of wine..........He commented he had not come across such a great and encompassing Itinerary for a an RTW before.

Terrence has do a fair bit of traveling himself....but i am hitting some places myself he hasn't visited and so i said id drop him an email to let me know how i get on and what they are like.

So no news on my Visa as yet, but by the time i see Terrence again i should have it or not....if not, then i will just get a tourist visa for OZ.

I have considered if i don't get my Aussie visa, then depending on funds then i may do volunteer work in India or perhaps overland back to Asia and get a beach bar job and bum around for a while.

Just need to see what happens😊
