Hi all,

Well, we had quite a few experiences in the last few days .

We landed in Hobart (the capital of this huge and very populated island) . Hobart has ~140000 people while in the whole island there ~480000 people . They have tons of spaces but most of them are filled with retired people that are travelling .

Hobart was nice, very quite and peaceful compare to Melbourne (well, here the truth - it was quite boring) . On Thursday We were introduced to our new "House on wheels" and started driving like crazies . Don't tell anyone but all the ausies are driving on the wrong side of the road and for some reason they think everyone should do it .

On the first day we went south of Hobart and travelled a bit in the Peninsula . On Wedensday we arrived to Freciant national park where we went to see the wineglass bay . It was wonderful but unfortunatly we forgot our camera so you'll have to count on us (imagine a bay at the form of a wine glass it's not difficult) .

The Next day we had a unique experiance . We went to Mt. Wiliam National park (the North east corner of the island) and we were literaly - alone . the park is ~ 80 Km and we spent a day with only the kangoroos . However we had a chance to visit isulated beaches, to see wildlife and to watch the most beautiful night skies in the southern hemisphere .

On Sunday we started drivinig to Launceston . On the way we stopped by 2 waterfalls, however the way between the first and second was not sealed and a tree has falled in the middle . Only after Elad lifted it up (and Chen drove the monstores vechile) we were able to pass through .

On Monday we arrived to Cradle mountain . The weather was awful . but we didn't give up, and on Tuesday we started climbing to it's top . The weather was changing in minutes from nice ans sunny to snow (mixed with rain) . we had a very good walk yesterday but we also manged to forget the camera so you'll have to trust us (imagine high mountain, muddy soil, and a very tough climb) .

That's for now, we started heading south, we plan to visit brunie island .

Penguins - Here we come !!!

Hi from smoky Florida
Shalom Chamudim, It's so much fun to follow your travels, wish we could meet you somewhere.....half way?! We are all doing well, trying to stay home as much as possible- too many fires around the state ,it feels like a never ending Lag Ba'Omer. Debi and Sherri came from New Jersey to visit. Debi read your blog and says hi. We are ready to go out for dinner and Steven said to tell you "to put a shrimp on the barbie". Keep up with the great blog, hugs and kisses Zohar, Steven and Aya
