Chinese new year partying 2 Well it had to eventually arrive someday didnt it. Singapore and my last 4 days in Asia.
Singapore is a very small country that you could easily drive around in a day. I stayed in
the city for my 4 days and didnt really venture out of it although i should have. It is
everything people say it is. The transport runs like clockwork and the streets are all
spotless(you could do time if youre caught dealing with wrigleys spermint or a packet of
juicy fruit chewing gums!!) and there is shopping galore for the shopaholics.
It would be great place to live in for a while i reckon with alot of ex pats working here in
the banks and insurance companies. The wages here are very good and its by far the most
expensive place i visited in asia with prices coming close to prices back home and in some
bars it was just as expensive. I didnt realy do too much here also except visitng little
areas of the city each day such as chinatown or little india or the buisness district. The
night life area of Clarke Quay was a really cool area full of bars and cafes along the local
river. Sinagpore is a really modern city with nice bars and friendly people. It would be a
good place to live for a while.
And so my final day in Asia arrived.....i didnt want to get on the plane at all but a new
continent and the land down under was waiting and i had to continue my trip. But Asia is by
far the best place i have ever been to. Every day there was something new to do, some where to visit, some new foods to eat, new smells and spices. Every day you were greeted by smiles and the best and friendliest people. You just get caught up im the lifestyle here and i met so many new friends from all over the world. The 6 countries i visited were all different in their own way but very similar in that they made you want to stay longer.
Asia is just the best.
Ill be going back not doubt....whos coming??!?!
