BordeauxBordeauxBordeaux

A first for me, but I still prefer the Cape wines. Maybe that's what you should expect if you buy the very cheapest Bordeaux
Today was a pretty full day. We spent the morning and afternoon wastching the classes we're going to be teaching, starting next week I guess. From 4h30 to 6 we had a staff meeting, which was a bit boring, but it think it's because we're new, so we're not up to date with what's going on.

We had spoken about going through to Seoul again with one of the teachers who was playing a gig, but by the time 7h30 came we were both pretty tired. Last night we didn't get nuch sleep because of the Seoul trip, even when we got back to our room at 1h30 am we were still buzzing so much from being in the big city that it took a while to get to sleep.

Just after we decided we were going to stay in the village we found that a bunch of the other South Africans and a few Americans had found a small portable braai (they call it a barbeque) and even some steakish meat to cook.

It was a perfect opportunity to open a bottle of red wine I had bought from E-Mart. A real Bordeaux, from France. It was the first time I've had real bordeaux, but since everything is imported here, it was not much more expensive than the other wines. There were also a few SA wines (Two Oceans and Nederburg), but I couldn't bring myself to buy them knowing their price back home. Chances are I will end up buying them in a few months time. Anyway, the Bordeaux wasn't bad and it was real great just chilling with a few of the other teachers, and I guess the braai was pretty good.

I found out something crazy today. Between our decent pay and the abundance of motorbikes in Korea, it is possible for me to buy a second-hand Harley Davidson for just a little bit more than one month's pay. How nuts is that. I'm so tempted to buy one. How cool would it be to have bought a Harley with my first paycheck out of varsity?

Anyway, we'll have to see. We're here to travel, not buy motorbikes. But you can travel ON a motorbike. Aaaaah! So cheap but so much money!

ANYWAY. It's getting warmer here. Life's good
