So, I've packed my bag again, tied up my boots and I'm heading out on the biggest adventure of my life! I've thrown in a few shots of recent times; the reasons why I will miss my homeland...

Having completed my informal training (fun) in the South Island, I now don my winter woolleys and head for some northern exposure in Canadia. There I will meet other keen members of Pole to Pole from around the world; we will be tested to our limits in the elements and establish our roles in the expedition.
Training will follow this before our departure to the North Pole in April.

I am not sure exactly when I will be back or what I will experience in the meantime, but I feel it will be big and I am looking forward to the challenges that lie before me. It will be exhausting. In many ways I am not really prepared to go, but then again, we can't be ready for everything that comes along. Opportunities cannot be analysed too closely sometimes. If something motivates you, jump for it, give it what you've got, because life only happens once, and it doesn't happen slowly...

I have had a chance to catch up with my life in New Zealand. There is so much more that I want to get into here. My life has once again been grabbed by the goolies and twisted on yet another tangent.

I am not certain, but I presume that there will be updates when the trip begins on the pole to pole website, www.poletopoleleadership.com

Take care. Peace and love to you

Stewhan
