Well everyone, thought we would start off with a quick entry letting you all know we have made it here safe and sound!
We landed at Bangkok with high expectations and so far they have all been met! It is a really wicked place, really bustling and hot as we thought it would be! Lots of interesting things to look at and we are walking around with our mouths open most of the time.
We decided to take it easy last night and after jumping in a cab to our hotel (with a random Aussie bloke that we got chatting to - he was safe so dont worry! He used to live out here so helped us negotiate our way without getting too lost) we arrived at the Viengtai Hotel which is lovely, our last bit of luxury! We then went to investigate and ended up having a manicure and pedicure (for about 5 quid) and Carmen had a massage! We are going back again tonight to have some super duper facial that they do and looks like lots of fun!!!!
This is just a quick entry as it is only 8.30am and we are already up and dressed and raring to go! So we are heading to the floating markets and for a bit of sightseeing! Tonight we are going to watch some ping pong action so that we can pick up a few tricks and get some practice in for when we get home! I think that Sevenoaks could really do with a show like that.
