Today we went on a walk through Marais in the morning from the Bastille to the Pompoudou Center. I was very much looking forward to the Pomp but it was a bust. The main collection was closed, and they were very bad about informing the public before we bought tickets. And it wasn't that we don't speak French, as many French people were confused and upset. We did see some interesting exhibits on Motion and Video art, and a temp exhibit on Klein. And I like the Pomp building from the inside, you feel like you are in a modern art piece, its chaotic and you don't know where anything is.
Later we went to Sacre Cour and walked all over Montemarte seeing all the great artist squares and where Renoir, Toulouse, Picasso and Van Gogh all lived when it was the great art scene. We loved seeing Montemarte and ended with the Moulin Rouge of course!
