Now that I'm back in Oregon and have had time to sift and sort through all of my experiences and images, I wanted to share a few more pictures that captured an aspect of my trip but were not shared in my earlier posts. So, this is my pictorial ode to Sicily. Will I return? Absolutely!

One evening I was driving through Enna and stopped by a large obelisk monument. As I neared the cliffside and peered over the ledge, there was a rather curious goat staring right back at me.

I loved the entrance to this building off the main street in Villarosa. The evening I took this photo, they were having a meeting. I watched person after person, no doubt all retired farmers, enter and disappear behind the beaded curtain.
