Staying in paradise. Lake house, with a pool, canoe, small motorized boat. Slightly tipsy on a ½ bottle of white whine, which our home stay has generously shared, and it has definitely gone to my head.

Point of wisdom #1, from our host Anne: “Never take the top plate, it’s the dust collector.”

Megan and I comment on how we have to keep reminding ourselves we’re adults. We still feel like kids. We are having trouble not seeing ourselves as peers with the kids we teach. Anne replies that she feels the same way. She’s reaching 60 this year with full grown kids and grandchildren. “No matter what, we are always ourselves, people just me as older than I really am.” Kid at heart. Forever.

I am so happy right now. That’s the best way I can describe it. I am so overflowing with happiness it has gone far past the realm of cliché and trite phrases, that simply stating the fact seems to be all that can some how accurately describe it. Full circle.

The show has come together some how, and it looks (knock on wood) like we’ll be having 2 great shows tomorrow. The week has been incredible. All the kids are super talented and have great energy. Megan and I are so exhausted but having a great time.

Such a different world than I’m used to. We had wine last night with Anne and her “tennis group” down at the pool house. Literally- The Ladies who lunch- as Megan put it. Talking about plastic surgery (getting their eyes done), getting more than tipsy off of 2 buck chuck, discussing their horrible tennis games, and chatting us up all the while keeping up an interesting power struggle. One woman trying to monopolize the conversation while others battle for the position

Currently we are in Corry, PA- a small town about 45 miles away from Eerie. Typing my journal entries at the library as I have no access to the internet anywhere else. I will try, as I get more time, to start sending out postcards and such, so send me your addresses and I'll send one your way. And my address is on a previous entry *hint* *hint* =D I'd love to get a letter about what's going on in all of your lives. Just be sure to send it priority mail, so it can get forwarded to me. Hopefully I'll catch up with these journal entries soon and post more pictures. =) Miss you all!!
