Hi Guys
We have had a lovley few days here and well... what a fantastic way to spend Christmas. I am glad to report that Matt seems to be hooked too.... (Sue and Graham don't worry we will be at yours next year)!! We met up with Jo and Mike and it has been really good to swap stories of all our experiences and spend a bit of time chilling out with friends.
We have done some fantastic dolphin spotting just in the bay, there are tons of them and you just don't get bored of watching them. It was really funny cos this morning we were all wishing that one would jump right out of the sea just next to our boat and then it happened, needless to say though it was not caught on camera! We have also taken boat trips around Butterfly Island, hopping off for a swim and going down river, the scenery is all really lush and green.
As you will see the cows just chill out on the beach, we were watching a couple of them romantically watching the sunset together yesterday!!
On Christmas eve we all hit the markets and
got pressies for each other, you won't be surprised to hear that Mike and Matt took an hour shopping and spent the afternoon drinking beers and Jo and I lost the rest of the day spoiling ourselves buying some nice jewelry!!
Christmas day was started off with a few rounds of Mohitos and the grand opening of the presents, we went out on the boat in the afternoon and then had a lovely meal overlooking the whole bay in the evening.
Unfortunately I (Vic) got food poisening that night and was violently sick all night. Matt has a problem with the other end and needs to run to the loo every time he eats despite taking Immodium!! It's not that bad though, we were both surprised that our stools have stood firm for 8 days.
Tommorow is our last day here before we catch a 16 hour sleeper train to Kerrala.

What a fantastic time you both seem to be having. Makes me feel so envious looking at your pic and reading the updates. What a dream way to spend Christmas. You look so happy and content together, many congratulations from here in Doncaster and the oldies in Barnsley. Hope we're going to get another Goodwin party uphere soon!!!!
