So I did it, I rented a scooter. It turns out that i'm terrible at riding a scooter, but holy shit was it fun. Robin and I along with our American friends rented scooters and drove all over hells half acre. I wasn't so good at riding in town with said scooter but as soon as we got on the open road it was a lot of good times and smooth sailing. We road past many many picturesque scenes but of course I did not have my camera with me. Even if I did I would have run out of batteries instantly. We stopped and had drinks at a restaurant called cafe del doi which is known for their deck overlooking the valley to watch the sun set. It was spectacular and again I wish I had my camera with me.
This morning we went on an elephant ride which was an adventure. The thing was huge and sitting on top of it was less than comfortable. Think of sitting on a really uncomfortable couch that has a giant spine right down the middle. There was constant readjustment. Elephants are way cool.
I learned how to do sudoku puzzles....jealous?
