Cancun – Edmonton
One last final breakfast overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and a brief walk around the grounds and then it was time to check out and head to the airport. The Cancun airport is so modern and clean it leaves Melbourne well behind. As usual my case was overweight and Ron’s under, so again we moved a couple of items out of it and into our hand luggage. We had a coffee while we waited for the plane to board. Unfortunately we were not able to get seats together, lucky us Ron was seated next to a mum and a 2 year old, and I sat next to her husband with a 4 year old. All I can say is thank heavens for earphones and loud music. We had a quick stop over at Calgary and then back home to Edmonton. Rob picked us up and we went to Boston Pizza for dinner. We had the most delicious pizzas and then headed home.

My worst nightmare!
Ugh, being seated next to a small child is my worst-case flying scenario. Did the children have their own seat or did their parents have to have them on their laps for the whole flight?? I’m glad you found your headphones and loud music enough to make it bearable. ????T
