Well it's been a while since I got around to here. I didn't really want to post until I had a few photos to prop up and smile at, but no matter.

Where am I? In a tiny house filled village called Beenbawn outside the main tourist town of Dingle.

What am I doing? Assimilating myself into a group of 12 people(5 coworkers, 7....intellectually challenged villagers) who are attempting to establish an organic farm, while involving and helping the villagers.

Am I enjoying it? I don't know or understand quite yet.

Unfortunately this little place isn't running as smoothly as I may make it out to be, if I did at all. Many problems have arose (one of the villagers moved(was sent) in a month ago, because he beat up all the others at his last village. Causing one of our few long-term workers to leave already. It's complicated.) and also seeing how unsmooth operations are here and that all the elders are all very inflexible cranky women(sorry, they can be sweet and knowledgable at times though) makes it quite rough.

I am not sure if I want to talk about it

much more. I don't have much time to go into Dingle anywho to meet the friendly locals, and even if I did, this is the 2nd most expensive place in the country, and a pint of bad beer(depends on your opinion of Guiness) is a 4 Euros minimum, and that's only the beginning.

We'll see.

Hi!
Hi Davey! I hope you're enyoying the Dingle Peninsula, thou you didn't sound so positive in your message... It's a real nice and special place within Ireland! How is the organic farming going? I live on the peninsula to, i live in annascaul (between Dingle and Tralee), just 15 km outside of Dingle. My boyfriend and I moved here in march 2006 from Holland. We like it it very much over here, the easy way of life and all, and although it is expensive in the pubs, you should really go more often, it is fun ;) Good luck in Ireland and where ever you go next (or don't you have any plans yet?)! Greetings, Jessica ps: it is really dark round here, like you said on your picture's, and cold these days too... ps2: we have our own website about moving to ireland, but it is dutch, so i don't think you can understand it very well... www.naarierland.nl Where are you from anyway?
