Ross at TORoss at TORoss at TO

Ross grinning because he's at a tourist office
Oct 19, Friday

Up at 5:30 since I went to bed at 9. Sorted through papers and did computer stuff until Ross woke at 8. Breakfast and off to the Metro. Got out at Cite and started randomly walking until we reached the official main tourist office. Ross engineered that since he always wants to visit every single tourist office we ever see. Anyway I found out a good coffee shop which was my only incentive to ask any questions. Le Pain Quotidien proved to be a good choice - croissants were delectable. The we walked all around the Marais area and we found this great store called Fleux. Good thing I don't live here - loved everyone of their four shops and could have spent a small fortune. Ross checked out a few things too. Headed back to the studio and we both fell asleep - a 2 hour nap which is unheard of by me. Threw out my Skechers which had seen better days. Back on the subway to where we left off and again found fun shops near Les Halles. Had a quick supper around 8 and headed back admiring the night lights all around.

Smartened up and wore my runners. Feet held out all day! Went grocery shopping at our local open street market - such an array of fruits, vegs and meats, fish and cheese. Bought a couple of meals worth of food. Took it back and then headed to Rue Moufftarde. I am loving my phone. Even in airplane mode the Google maps can locate me and I can follow on the map. No more letting Ross pull out the 3 foot by 2 foot unfolded map to try and find out where we are. It's like GPS in the car- it has stopped many arguments and many extra steps on my Fitbit. Found the place and enjoyed all the food shops by sight, small and taste. Lunch was a goat cheese salad and Ross had escargot. Followed my phone back to the Seine after going through part of the botanical gardens. Walked the pathway along the river, did a sketch and watched a group making a film before heading off to the Berthillon ice cream store. I had a double chocolate and coffee and Ross had grapefruit. Best coffee ice cream I have ever had. So good next

Is he checking the male or the female plant pot
time I won't even bother with the chocolate. Watched a few buskers and ambled to a metro and back to the studio. Made ravioli purchased fresh from a shop on Rue Moufftarde. Ross is now having a nap before getting ready for bed.

It all sounds divine - and rainfree. The rain in Spain ... falls mainly on the coast this week.
