We became rather possessive of this lovely area.
We found a few floating bags from people who had been feeding the fish and gathered them up. We saw 2 small groups of people standing on the big mounds of coral, one Chinese and one from Naples - and we chased both off. Sadly very few of the snorkelers were actually snorkeling: most were walking with river shoes and ducking in the water. The good thing is that there were very few people in the water with us. Most went off on those package boat trips to other islands, leaving us very happily alone in Paradise.
(off to eat dinner in Kota Bharu by car - more tomorrow morning hopefully!) Satay, here we come.
