None of us could afford 30 days in a Marriott or even a Super 8. As pilgrims, we will be allowed to stay in Albergues, these are like hostels. Most are dormitory style with shared bathrooms, some will have private and semi-private rooms. You are only allowed to stay one night, most have lights out at 10:00PM and they put you out the door by 10:00AM.  In our research, we found that it was highly recommended that we bring our own sleeping bag rather than trusting the cleanliness of the mattresses and bedding.
