A competition is being held to decide the cities which will make it onto the Monopoly World Edition board. Votes can be cast for one of 20 preselected cities, or for wildcard cities.
Voting is already open, and closes on the 9th March 2008.

terms and conditions Reply to this Controversy already! The inclusion of Jerusalem, Israel - is causing some offence to some - least that's what CNN is saying.
It's a shame because it won't be reflective truly of the most interesting cities world wide - but reflective of the national campaigns that are being made to ensure they are included... bit like the last wonders of the world campaign.

The world edition sounds like a good idea. But this voting thing, not so much - for the reasons mentioned above by Ali.
