Enjoyed reading Burma Two: Bicycles in Bagan by michaelpaddo.....really funny blog !

aspiringnomad is also one of my favourites. But most of his best thought-provoking blogs are pre-2007. Can you guys make an excemption ? ;>.....OK....at least Beauty in The Belly of The Beast should make the cut !

Peace Walk (Part VII): Golf Balls & The Secret Doorstep Into Space by cam2yogi is also an excellent read.

Cheers ! Reply to this

I'd like to recommend “Frogging is a Risky Business” - Assam by Banchory to the Bosphorous by Bike. It shows the realistic side of travelling for a period of time out of your comfort zone and in an alien environment. It also shows how that can change into pleasure and warmth when you encounter welcoming people.

Stephen Paul is an excellent blogger - both photos and commentary.
Not sure which to choose from 2007 - maybe Life, Death and the Metamorphic Conspiracy. Reply to this

I think a different Europe blog from sprucemoose is: null blog 128267. You dont really hear much about Finland, so its an interesting insight.

Yuki Jen has great Middle East blogs on Iran, maybe Life is a Backgammon Game in Iran (Finale).

I'll go ahead and recommend a few entries of people who haven't been mentioned yet to maybe get some more variety.

I love Omega's pictures, so I'd have to say from his either Mount Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks or Exploring a Cradle of Explorers. I also enjoyed reading this blog Fethıye - Kaş - Antalya - Goreme by colvinyeates, Salt and peppers by Stephanie and Andras, Rebuilding New Orleans by capsfan2002 and In a Land of Shifting Sands by ciotog og Reply to this

We vote for the Crazy Canucks:
We enjoyed all the blogs and photos from the "Crazy Canucks" travels. In our opinion the best photo was #930795 from Clifton Beach.
Check out their photos!

Hey everybody...

Brian and I are thrilled with the amount of people who chimed in on this forum. We'll be contacting all the winners soon. After that's done and we finalize the list of blogs that'll be included in the 'Best of Travelblog.org 2007' book, I'll post the list here in the forum.

I just wanted to end by saying thanks to everyone who participated in this contest. Without all your selections this wouldn't have been possible.
