We (Summersdale) are looking for suggestions on naturally / manmade occurring happenings that visually are extraordinairy. This could be anything from the insane human wave pools of Japan (see Youtube) to the Northern Lights, to Ice storms. We are looking for that one inspirational idea, on the theme of 'natural stimulation' that really has an enormous visual impact. Please email any suggestions to me on

Nick Reply to this The sunset in Santorini is beautiful. Hotels can be found there fairly cheap. Rent a 4-wheeler and drive to your own spot to watch the sunset. Hell, stay a couple days at the beaches and watch it from different locations.
The landscape across Switzerland and Austria lets you know there is a God. I would suggest a Lake cruise in Lucern for an inexpensive way to take it all in.
