Two girls looking for safe places to stay on beach either in tulum, playa del carmen, or isla mujeres?
We are two girls with no spanish skills, looking to stay at chill SAFE places on the beach either in Tulum, isla mujeres, or playa del carmen...ANy suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Reply to this What kind of $$ do you want to spend? "Blue Sky" in Tankah (near Tulum) is really nice, but costs $100/night.
Reply to this Playa del Carmen is really nice. It's a bit more lay back , but its only a $40 cab ride to Cancun if you feel like partying on a bit more grand scale. Most of the hotels are all-inclusive, which is huge when u factor in the costs of food and drinks. The town is also very close by, they have some great shops, bars, and restaurants.
You don't need to know spanish (most of the visitors are international from europe) and it's extreamly safe (their economy thrives off tourism, so they protect it at all costs).
Since I don't know your price range, I'll just tell you that it can range from 500-1200 for 5 days (airfare included). Look for package deals around this time of year, it's still the offseason.
