I'll be backpacking CA for 7 weeks beginning in Nov. I'm flying into Costa Rica and considering renting a vehicle for the long haul. The idea would be for it to pay for itself by often sleeping in it and saving on bus tickets. Is it a huge hassle to take a rental across borders in the region. Or is it not even possible?? Thanks!
