How does your partner feel about your travelling obsession?

I have a cool arrangment with my boyfriend.
He likes to go out a lot in the city we live in.
I like to travel.
When he goes out, I put the same amount of money he spent towards my travelling.
We also have save some shared travelling money, for the occasional holiday we can all go on together.

One of the reasons I am with my gf turned wife is our shared love of travel. We travel together mostly, but the best part of our relationship is that when we go off to separate places, it's no big deal. It doesn't become a problem when we both want to go somewhere, but the somewhere happens to be two different places. Reply to this

Thanks for the reply Dudes. 😊
When I first started travelling, I had a partner who loved travelling too. We went on a 3 month trip accross Europe together.
That was lucky for me, because I had not travelled before and needed a good teacher.

No problem Mell, its just always nice to know the are other people out there who have a passion to travel and do not measure there lives simply on having x amount of salary and a BMW or whatever on the drive etc.......i suppose i mean the one man upmanship disease. I just think the is way more to life than that, i think a job is only ever a means to an end and that you work to live and not live to work.

Thx Mike😊 Reply to this
