Hello looking for recommendations of places to stay in France (reasonable priced)....
Hello,
My boyfriend and I are going to Europe next year and want to stay two nights in Paris; we are looking for accommodation recommendations. We are only 21 not on a huge budget but sort of, have been recommended to stay on the west bank and mainly interested in looking at the Flea markets when we are there
..
So please let me know the best place to stay
.
Thank you!!
Reply to this I was in a Paris a few years ago and stayed at the
MIJE on rue de Fauconnier, centrally located in the Marais district. It's a youth hostel that I found it to be clean and quiet with a great location. If you're looking for a convenient place on a budget it would be my recommendation. I've heard from several travellers that many youth hostels in Paris can get quite rowdy during certain times of the year, but I was here during the American spring break and didn't have any problems.
Reply to this Hi, I´ve just returned from a long and unforgettable trip across Europe, I had the chance to visit almost every part of it. I was able to find hotels everywhere I went thanks to worldby.com , which offers the traveller a wide variety of prices, including guarantee on lowers prices, specially in Paris. I higly recommend it!
Reply to this I just stayed in a hotel in Paris called Hipotel, only 16 a night for a twin room, and I think cheaper options are also available. It's simple but does the job. I booked through HostelWorld.com
Reply to this best places in Paris, difficult, my guess is finding anyhting below 50eur is tough. the 16eur are amazing! Maybe you could try the youth hostel (Auberges de Jeunesse)?
If you are looking for nice places to go to, my personal favorites: http://www.createforum.com/insidercityguid
Reply to this Sorry, just wanted to be clear - when we stayed at Hipotel it was 16 a night per person.
Reply to this Heey,
16 euro in paris is really cheap, there are so many nice hostels that don't coast a lot.
hostelword.com is good site and www.fuaj.com for hostels in Paris. Hostels I can advise are
Hotel Coulaincourt, Auberge de jeunesse D'artagnon and the hostels of MIEJ, like Fauconnier.
I did also a trip in france where to hostels were already booked. It is a hop on hop off bus called
Ze Bus. I saw amazing places and it was so much fun. Their site is www.ze-bus.com.
Well enjoy France and Paris! There's is so much to see.
Tip: If you go to Galleries la Fayette, go to the terasse on the 7th floor. You have a beautifull view over
paris there.
Beeey,
Yvi
