I was wondering weather anyone knew HOW old you have to be to get foregin currency travelers checks and where to get them? I am going on a class trip to England and Ireland and would like to know in advance. Also what is the whole currancy thing I really don't get it.
Reply to this I think you have to be 18 or over and have a current bank account. Also, what do you mean about the "whole currency thing"? England uses the pound and Republic of Ireland uses the Euro. It might just make sense to take cash if it is not a long trip and lots of stuff (like accommodation) has already been paid for.
