Looking for some insight on the Eastern European path to take. I am up for anything!! Tell me what you think
Any reccomended cities or areas, after flying into Zadar or Pula.
I am also looking into flying in Vienna, then to Budapest, then traveling down to Croatia and flying out of there. I am up in the air as of now... Naturally I cant spend a ton of money because I am a student and dont have Parents sending money my way.
Try to go to Slovenia if you have time. Not far from Vienna or Zagreb. Lljuljana is a lovely city to walk around for a day or two but the lake Bled and Bohinj areas are gorgeous if you like the outdoors. There is a really cool hostel in Ljuljana called Hostel Celica, its an old converted prison and worth a look even if you decide not to stay there.
I would also recommend Mostar in Bosnia, a pretty little town with a very interesting story to tell...can't remember how long it takes to get there...I think about 4 hour bus journey from Northern Croatia.
Ok, I have established that I will be going from
Ljubljana - Lake Bled, Triglavski National Park, and possibly Lake Bohinj
Zagreb - Plitvice Seen National Park
hen I am not sure where I want to go possibly
Banja Luka, Bosnia
then to Split, Croatia taking the coast to Dubrovnik OR to Mostar to Dubrovnik
Any other suggestions?!?! Thanks for the tips Edam !!
Id recommend following cities
Zagreb, Budapest, Warsaw, St Petersburg, Moscow, Lljujana
Have a good one!
