Travelling during New Years

Why going abroad during New Years
4 years ago, September 4th 2019 No: 1 Msg: #207469
Hi all.

I'm considering going abroad during the Christmas holidays and celebrating New Years in another country. However I am a bit doubt though. Have any of you experienced travel during New Years? If that's so, what makes it different from travelling other times of the year, why do you think it's great? Additionally, where should i go and what should i be aware of when travelling during New Years?

Best regards

In response to: Msg #207469 I spent one New Years in Las Vegas. Not a good idea unless you are a crazy party person. Reply to this

I've done it twice, both to New York City. It's a busy time to travel, so plan on accommodations and transport being both crowded and expensive. Reserve as far in advance as possible. I enjoyed the city's crazy energy that time of year (it really is the center of the world) but probably won't do it again. Reply to this

I spent the new years in Barcelona last year with friends and It was awesome! Everywhere you go in the city you will be able to party and celebrate. I found here <snip> good suggestions to have dinner and enjoy the night. You should be aware that lots of places will be closed the 1st of January, so I suggest to check the touristic attractions timetable in order to know what is open and what's not.

Hey, I would love to reply to you with a positive response to your question. There are many beautiful places to wander about. But from my personal experience, I suggest you Peru is wonderful and is blessed with beautiful places within it. Last year during winters, I and my wife visited Peru for our Christmas and new year celebration. We were completely unaware of the facts of Peru. But before starting our trip, we booked our rooms at Llanganuco mountain lodge via their official website <snip> a month ago. There we visit places of Peru. Lima, Cusco, Machu Picchu, national parks, and many more are the blissful places in Peru

I have the experience of traveling during NY. And the first thing that differs such travel from travel in any other time is the cost of trip. It can be more expensive. Btw I had a great New Year trip last year thanks to <Snip> Viator Reviews. The atmosphere of winter Toronto was really amazing
