I need your help!!
I went to Phi Phi before the tsunami, but haven\'t been back since. I understand that it was totally devastated but would love to return. Are there any accomodation recommendations for somewhere close (up to 15 mins walk) to the main village? Looking for something in the middle price range - air con, shower, tv etc...
all suggestions/weblinks greatly appreciated
Cheers,

Reply to this Hi , we went to Phi Phi at Christmas, we stayed at Andaman Legacy ,which is near Hippies bar, so one minutes walk to there and also Carpe Diem which is great for fire shows. The town is a 10 minute walk away max. with bars and restaurants as you go. It cost us 2000Baht per bungalow with air-con hot shower but no tv. But who needs a TV on such a fab island!!!?
There is loads of accom roundabout there, some slightly cheaper some more expensive just turn up you should get somewhere no problems, we did and it was Christmas although it was more difficult. This area is also closest to the best beach (Long beach).
(turn left as you get off the pier and follow the path to get to Andaman Legacy)
Go, you will have a great time, we did, and everything is up and running again after the tsunami, there is some building work but nothing to spoil your enjoyment
If you want to read my travelblog that has loads of details, e-mail me and i will give you the web address. Sheila
Reply to this You might find from this page , there are a lot of resort/hotel which price less than 2,000 Baht, 3 star hotel with full facilities. Interesting one is Arayaburi Resort is only 1,9XX Baht. It is 4 star hotel, Check it out here : http://www.hotelsguru.com/thailand-phi%20phi%20island-hotels.html
