We are looking into renting a motor home for our family of five; kids ages are 15, 13 and 9. My husband and I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and figured we may as well make it a family affair. Going with the idea of renting an RV so that most of our funds aren’t spent on food and lodging. We are looking at taking a week anytime between the end of June to mid July.
Any and all suggestions are welcome. The only traveling we have done lately is moving from one duty station to the next (active duty military). Ready to have some family fun and regroup as a family.

Reply to this Welcome to Travelblog, and the adventure of travel. Many families have done RV trips around the US. Search for 'RV' and read their blogs for ideas and suggestions.
Also, what are you most interested in (parks, historic sites, amusement parks, etc.)? The best trips tend to include things that people have wanted to experience for years.
My personal choices would be either Tennessee or the Black Hills.
