What a fantastic adventure...had me on the edge of my seat...described so well.
Red zone, ship graveyard, iron ore train to nowhere, the manuscript library that anywhere else would be in a museum, mud mosques, silence, sand and more sand.
And the experts call it "Do not travel"!
I can hear the silence...reminds me of the joy of sleeping on mud roofs in Mali and the gentle feel of dust settling on my face.
I have nominated this as Blog of the Month. Truly inspiring
