As we do each year to celebrate TB's birthday we have just announced this year's inductees into The TravelBlog Hall of Fame.

Head on over to the forums, help us celebrate the achievements of our latest inductees, and be inspired by their amazing travel tales and images.

2017 TravelBlog Hall of Fame

15 years is a real achievement - and we're still here and growing because of you, the TB community.

Thank you to everyone for sharing your travel stories, getting involved in our forums, and for carrying that spirit over to in-person meetups within the TB community.

We'd love to hear your favourite TB memories and anecdotes, and what you love most about being part of the TB family! Reply to this

It's been a wild 15 years 😊

A huge thanks to Michelle auspicious and Jo Jo Trouble - who handle pretty much all of the behind the scenes support and admin.

Another huge thanks to the moderators who keep the community going, admin tasks, accepting new bloggers, removing spam and helping new members of the site feel welcome.

And a final huge thanks to all the bloggers who share so many amazing stories and photos every single day, we've probably had new blogs added to the site every day continuously for over a decade now!
TravelBlog wouldn't be possible without you!

Next milestone - who will add the 1 millionth blog? Reply to this

Happy Birthday, Travelblog. Six years ago I finally took the trip I had planned in some form for nearly 25 years. When I got back, life felt sort of empty; nothing could compare. Then I got involved in the Travelblog community beyond just posting blogs, and discovered a group of people with the same wonderlust.Travelblog really is the friendliest community out there; thank you to everyonel for making it what it is. I have always been an individual not bound by my past that followed my own paths wherever they may lead...curious, enquiring, determined, able to engage the highs and lows and survive...fortunate to have a life partner that I could enjoy it with. But it was not until I joined Travelblog that the World and its plethora of travellers truly opened up to me...like minded souls who embraced their journeys no matter how or where they may be.

My thanks to Ali who had the vision to create the site and the generosity and insight to make it and keep it personal, a World family community open to all. My thanks to Michelle, Jo and the dedicated Administrators and Moderators behind the scenes who help it be the best it can be.

We have met the most wonderful people through Travelblog...travelled with some of them...followed the rides and slides of so many travellers in the ether.

How fortunate are we to be a members of this community? Happy 15th Travelblog...here's to many more!!! Reply to this

Happy belated, TravelBlog! 😉

You have introduced me to some amazing friends and strangers (who feel like friends as I vicariously enjoy everybody's travels). TravelBlog really wouldn't be the same without the community. Thanks everyone! Reply to this

As well as the amazing people who have all been part of TravelBlog in whatever form, it's been great to see so many parents introduce the younger members of their family to the TB family - we even have a few 'second generation TBers' 😊 Reply to this

Any chance of the 20th anniversary party?

Should we start planning now?

Oregon? Reply to this

In response to: Msg #202404 I would come to Oregon for a 16th, 17th, 18th, or 19th anniversary party. Why wait until 20? Reply to this

If we are thinking far ahead, there is a total solar eclipse over the US on April 8, 2024. We could easily combine this with a Travelblog get together : ) The best viewing areas look to be in Texas.

The 10th Anniversary party weekend was too special for there not to be a 20th.

It's already in my travel planning diary :-) Reply to this
