As we do each year to celebrate TB's birthday we have just announced this year's inductees into The TravelBlog Hall of Fame.

Yep, many congratulations Ali you have created something rather fine. I'm sure I speak for all your users when I say thank you; we love your site and and are very grateful for the linking (to faraway friends) it provides, everything it informs us of and the entertainment it provides. It's been a wild 15 years 😊

A huge thanks to Michelle auspicious and Jo Jo Trouble - who handle pretty much all of the behind the scenes support and admin.

Another huge thanks to the moderators who keep the community going, admin tasks, accepting new bloggers, removing spam and helping new members of the site feel welcome.

And a final huge thanks to all the bloggers who share so many amazing stories and photos every single day, we've probably had new blogs added to the site every day continuously for over a decade now!

HAPPY 15th BIRTHDAY TRAVELBLOG

I have always been an individual not bound by my past that followed my own paths wherever they may lead...curious, enquiring, determined, able to engage the highs and lows and survive...fortunate to have a life partner that I could enjoy it with. But it was not until I joined Travelblog that the World and its plethora of travellers truly opened up to me...like minded souls who embraced their journeys no matter how or where they may be.

My thanks to Ali who had the vision to create the site and the generosity and insight to make it and keep it personal, a World family community open to all. My thanks to Michelle, Jo and the dedicated Administrators and Moderators behind the scenes who help it be the best it can be.

We have met the most wonderful people through Travelblog...travelled with some of them...followed the rides and slides of so many travellers in the ether.

How fortunate are we to be a members of this community? Happy 15th Travelblog...here's to many more!!! Reply to this

As well as the amazing people who have all been part of TravelBlog in whatever form, it's been great to see so many parents introduce the younger members of their family to the TB family - we even have a few 'second generation TBers' 😊 Reply to this

If we are thinking far ahead, there is a total solar eclipse over the US on April 8, 2024. We could easily combine this with a Travelblog get together : ) The best viewing areas look to be in Texas.
