Reply to this The history of the Blues in USA is rife with racial prejudice in the early days where it was equated as music and even on record labels for black audiences. But music is an equaliser. There was also some fusion between jazz and blues. An enigmatic entertainer who played with Louie Armstrong and Duke Ellington in the heady 1920s, 1930s jazz swing bands was a favourite at the Cotton Club in Harlem, New York.

Now it's time to climb into the time machine, way back when a couple of bluesmen from the southeast got together and played a few tunes together.
Their name were Pink Anderson and Floyd Council.....who might remain absolutely obscure for most except for one person....the late Syd Barrett of Pink Floyd, who created the band's name by juxtaposing the first names of Council and South Carolina bluesman Pink Anderson. The rest as they say....is history.
So....here they are with Pink Anderson....C.C. And O. Blues and Floyd Council......If You Don't Give Me What I Want.
Dancing Dave says "If this sounds like Deja Vu...check out video No. 9 on page 1 msg 199493...check it out"
