The best way to spend 7 days in San Francisco, Silicon Valley in October

I'm attending a conference in Saratoga in October for 3-4 days, then taking a few more days for sightseeing. Would love suggestions for things to do and places to stay in Saratoga and San Francisco

I hope to catch a concert at Mountain Winery and visit the Hakane Gardens. I'm also interested in the Tech Museum and am planning a tour of levi's stadium. Once my conference is over, I plan to take the train to San Francisco. I do not want to bother with driving. Would like recommendations for hotels in both Saratoga and San Francisco. Suggestions for restaurants and how to make the best use of my time in SF. Reply to this

Hi there,

I don't know much about Saratoga but there is a lot to do in San Francisco as I'm sure you are aware of. Accommodation is expensive though but you could check out airbnb. For food the Fisherman's Wharf area has a lot of seafood restaurants to choose from and there is a great jazz bar across the road with live music and nice ambience. Things to do.. obviously you have to walk across the Golden Gate Bride or cycle across it, but to see it from a different perspective I recommend hiking up to Vista Point and seeing the bridge from above (looks amazing with the fog rolling in). Also worth visiting is Fort Point, a national historic site preserved for its outstanding military architecture. You could also go to the Palace of Fine Arts and take a walk along the park on the waterfront (really pretty in the morning). Here is a link with some great idea's <snip> You could do all of the above in two days. I guess it just depends what you are into..

There is so much to do in San Francisco that I would not be able to start over. But what I advise you, is to see on the internet, besides not so long ago I registered to a newsletter of a site that offers you activities and rentals that are not at all expensive Reply to this
