Travels 4 2
Well, we have talked about it for years now at last we have taken the plunge. Call it "adult gap year", career break or mid life crisis, but the house is sold, possessions in store, sold, on loan, given or thrown away, many parties had and our old life on hold. Now we are making final preparations to head to the USA to purchase our new home ( an RV) and travel North, Central and Southern America or where ever the road takes us. Watch this space ..........
MAY 2016........ well we enjoyed it so much last time, we always we said we would do it again. It may have taken us a decade to get to do ...

Nomination by
Home and Away "I would like to nominate Travels 4 2, Brits who joined TB in 2005 and wrote about their "adult gap year" touring around North America in a 38 foot long recreational vehicle (RV)...not something you see Brits doing every day, at least regarding the size of their mobile home. Their last blog was written in 2007, and now they have returned to North America almost ten years later to resume touring by RV where they left off. It's great to see bloggers return after so long away. It's good we catch them at the beginning of their adventure."

Blogger of the Week Reply to this Hi
Thank you for the nomination. We write this Blog for our own memories and for our friends and family at home to keep tabs on us.
We always planned to return for another RV trip, it is the only way to appreciate the beautiful contrasting areas of North America at your own pace. We learnt from last time that although you see so much there is always much more to do. It took a while to return , we are really enjoying being back on the road.
We didn’t hang up our passports in the last ten years though, we visited Iceland, Myanmar, Egypt, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal and returned twice to India, another large country that demands lots of time.
We will be spending the winter in Mexico then return to see more of the States and Canada.
It would be great to meet up with any of our fellow travellers along the way.
Regards Moira & Graeme
