I love the unexpected encounters, details and anecdotes when it comes to travel. Here's a small one:
We were at the Ubud Monkey Forest when a young monkey suddenly climbed onto my head and started grooming my hair. I'm not sure what it found, but my hubby took a photo just as it gave a gagging expression of utter disgust.
I'm certain somebody must have a funnier tale out there -- please share with us! 😉

Reply to this The monkey forest is a dangerous place ( just kidding) but you do need to pay attention because those blasted monkey's can be aggressive. They warn you not to take food into the forest. As you wander through the forest you can see monkey's going after food that people have with them and or in a backpack. People, us included, wanted a cute photo of or with the monkey. But-- those darn things have attitude. This one started coming after me during our photo shoot. (shame on him)
