we want a suggestion for Bali trip. we want a suggestion about the best accommodation and places.

My husband and I are planning on making our long-awaited return to Bali after 8 years, before coming back to Australia to retire. We absolutely loved the Ubud area because of it’s peace and tranquility, so any suggestions for resorts in this area would be fantastic. We’re looking for clean rooms and facilities, something close to the town center, internet facilities and a private pool. A resort close to the beach would be a big bonus also.

Thank you kindly for any help with this query. Reply to this

I don't remember names of places that we stayed in Ubud, however, I do remember that it was really easy to arrive in town and just look around until we found a place we liked -- we didn't plan our accommodation ahead at all. If you run into the slim chance of bad accommodation, you can easily find another accommodation within the day. Reply to this

We stayed at the Alam Shanti in Ubud. I believe there are several hotels owned by the same people. It was a great location near the monkey forest.

Ubud has Monkeys

In Sanur beach we stayed on the beach. This was a lovely area.

One of our favorite places was in Lovina Beach

Did you do the dolphin trips in Lovina beach? going to Bali in 2 weeks and wondering if it's worthwhile or are there too many boats chasing them around? Reply to this

The boats did not interfere with the Dolphins. They are respectful. Once one boat finds them they call the other boats. An amazing experience. I want to go back. Reply to this

If you venture out from Udub, Kuta is crazy and congested - as everyone here knows. Go South to the Bukit Peninsula. Hitchhike, rent an ojek and just go. You'll find loads of cheap, quiet, and beautiful accommodation. Reply to this
