I plan visiting Canada and have a conviction
7 years ago, June 19th 2016 No: 1 Msg: #197007
Hello I was living in the US before for a while and got caught up with wrong and was convicted of a crime. I was later deported. I felt really bad about it so I worked on myself and turned my life around. Now it's been 18 year's now I am married now and have kids , got a good job and ever since stayed away from trouble. I am also a citizen of the EU, and I no longer use the passport I was deported with from the states. I plan going to Canada, I have applied for my ETA and was approved. Will my past conviction come up because I now have an European passport. I hope to hear from someone out here.. thanks Reply to this
