Please suggest me best place to see autumn / fall colors in Europe. I stay in the Netherlands.
I would like to make a short trip (2-3 days) to some nice place My main intention is to witness spectacular Autumn colors (as I had never experienced it before)
For me U.K. is out of question since I will need different visa. Please suggest me something convenient to travel (by train / flight) from the Netherlands.

Reply to this I Germany we have a lot of forests, Especially in the medium high mountains like Bayerischer Wald, Schwarzwald, Harz and many others. If you have luck, the weather is fine and you can do some walking. Otherwiese survival guys will have fun to do camping.
