If you are thinking about travelling around South America I highly recommend taking some Spanish lessons and there is no better place than San Carlos de Bariloche.

Bariloche is home to Cerro Catedral the largest ski resort in South America which is a great place for everyone from beginners through to experts. There are tones of places you can go back country riding to enjoy the full views of the lakes and mountains beyond. In your spare time take a quick trip across the border into Chile and also try sking in Pucon or visit the coast!

If you come you will want to get to know the locals as they are super friendly and in order to do that it's at least helpful to know a bit of Spanish or improve what you already know. For this I recommend the super professors at La Montaña Spanish School which is in downtown Bariloche. They offer a wide range of courses and are flexible with times so you can hit the slopes, brush up your spanish then use what you've learnt at the local bar whilst tasting one of the locally briewed beers.

See you there!!
