Reply to this We drove down the Costa Brava and saw some of the beautiful towns on our way to Granada. We actually stayed in a hotel in Valencia and then camped at a campground within Granada. It was nice with a really good restaurant on it. I will write more on my blog (which I actually haven't started yet). We just returned from Europe after 11 years and I need to unpack all my travel info and photos. Also camped at Cordoba.

Reply to this I would recommend Madrid!
This city is amazing and it has a lot of things to offer. You can find everything here, excellent food, friendly people, a lot of history, art and culture. There are a lot of activities and things to see here, and you don't even need a lot of money. You can visit some of the most important museums for free, there are a lot of nice restaurants which are also cheap, and a lot of parks, where you can relax when it is sunny, which almost always is 😊 I highly recommend you to visit Madrid and write about it, it will make you fall in love. 😊
In response to: Msg #191819 Reply to this I would reccomend and also have been in these locations:
Madrid and Barcelona (big cities). Maybe with a trip from Madrid to the old city of Toledo.
Santiago de Compostela (pilgrim spot).
Sevilla, Cordoba and very important: Granada (old muslim/andalusian cities).
Palma de Mallorca (swimming, popular for many germans like me).
One of my trips is this one:
